Indian scrap imports fall as UK supply retreats

Indian scrap imports fell again in March, by 7% on-year to 405,066 tonnes, Kallanish notes from Indian commerce ministry provisional data. They were also down 13% from February. Top two suppliers United Arab Emirates and Singapore actually increased supply by 37% and 21% respectively to 99,951t and 35,138t.
