Indian iron ore export surge continues
Indian iron ore exports surged 126% on-year in October to 2.94 million tonnes, according to Indian commerce ministry provisional data monitored by Kallanish. Their average price was $66/tonne versus $101/t in October 2018 and $72/t in September 2019.
Soaring shipments to China continued, rising 160% in October to 2.43mt. Exports to Japan also soared, by 118% to 140,750t, but shipments to South Korea fell -9% to 129,260t. Oman and Turkey took in 102,550t and 82,840…
