Indian HRC quotes soften despite European price hikes
Euro-dollar exchange rate volatility, coupled with slowed demand in Europe and India has led Indian mills to revise their hot rolled coil offers down by $15-20/tonne compared to the latest concluded deal. This comes despite ArcelorMittal hiking HRC offers by €40/t ($43) to €820/t delivered across Europe this week.
