Indian HRC exports decline despite Europe growth
Indian hot rolled flat products exports dropped 11% on-year in February to 322,176 tonnes, according to Indian commerce ministry provisional data seen by Kallanish. This came despite significant growth in shipments to Europe.
Exports to Vietnam and United Arab Emirates fell 68% and 18% on-year respectively to 59,759t and 57,066t, while shipments to Nepal dropped 0.3% to 36,213t.
