Indian HR flats exports slump despite Spain surge
Indian exports of HS code heading 7208 products – hot rolled flats – slumped 42.7% on-year in July to 278,514 tonnes, according to Indian commerce ministry data monitored by Kallanish.
This was due to a -45.9% fall in intake by Vietnam to 118,012t, while United Arab Emirates and Nepal reduced intake -7.4% and -4.4% respectively to 53,875t and 34,252t. Malaysia took in -20.7% less at 28,804t. Spain, however, increased intake over three-fold to 11…
