Indian stainless steel demand to grow: Crisil
Indian domestic stainless steel demand is expected to grow at an annual rate of 9% in the three fiscal years through the fiscal year ending March 2025 (FY25), says Crisil Ratings.
According to the rating agency, this demand growth will, in turn, spur capacity additions. Domestic demand for stainless steel totalled around 4 million tonnes in FY22, Crisil adds.
