Indian domestic HRC demand, prices drop amid monsoons
Indian domestic hot and cold rolled coil market demand remains subdued this week due to monsoons, domestic traders tell Kallanish. Prices have dropped due to the weakness in market sentiment.
A domestic source says: “Overall market demand is looking low for both longs and flats. Local mills’ HRC prices are down by more than INR 1,500/t [$18] from June.”
