Indian domestic coil demand slows due to elections
Indian domestic hot and cold rolled coil market demand and prices have fallen this week, ending the uptick seen over the last month, Indian traders tell Kallanish.
Domestic demand is expect to be lower until the general election is over. They also do not expect a significant rise in demand post-elections as the monsoon season will start in June. Local demand typically slows down during the monsoons, which last till September.
