Indian domestic coil demand stays firm, prices rise
Indian domestic hot and cold rolled coil market demand remains firm this week, Indian traders tell Kallanish. Prices have also continued to rise, for the fifth consecutive week.
Domestic traders note strong performance in the long products segments, high Chinese prices, stable demand due to supply-demand balance amid mill shutdowns, and a sharp rise in raw materials prices. These factors are helping coil prices to continue their bullish run.
