Indian coking coal production grows in January
Indian coking coal production grew 5.03% on-year to 5.76 million tonnes in January, against 5.48mt produced a year earlier. Output in April 2022-January 2023 surged 23.44% to 47.49mt, against 38.47mt a year earlier, Kallanish notes.
Output, however, dropped marginally on-month in January, by 1.2% versus 5.83mt produced in December.
