Indian billet producer enters liquidation
Kamineni Steel and Power India has been ordered into liquidation by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Hyderabad, Kallanish learns from the tribunal.
Sreepuram-based Kamineni has a 360,000 tonnes/year capacity of 100-220mm square and 140-320mm round billet. The firm’s sister company United Seamless Tubular also produces seamless pipe, although it is not involved in the liquidation.
