Indian billet exports slump despite surge to Italy
Indian semi-finished product exports, the majority of which were billet, slumped -28% on-year in June to 164,935 tonnes, Kallanish learns from Indian commerce ministry data. Their average value was $463/tonne versus $539/t in June 2018.
