Indian automotive production, deliveries surge on festival demand
Indian automotive output grew 17% on-year to 2,479,256 units in September, against 2,125,304 units produced in the same period last year, reports the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).
On-month, output grew by 9% against 2,275,407 units produced in August. Output includes passenger vehicles (PV), commercial vehicles, three-wheelers, two-wheelers and quadricycles.
