Indian automotive output sees swift post-lockdown recovery
Indian automotive output soared 208% on-year to 4,583,510 units in the first fiscal quarter through June (FQ1), reports the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). In June alone the nation manufactured 1,693,639 units, up 55% on-year. The output includes passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, three wheelers, two wheelers, and quadricycles.
