Indian auto sentiment improves, output cuts still expected
The festive season and continued government initiatives to ease liquidity saw improved Indian automotive sector consumer sentiment in October, while dealer inventories have reduced. However, with inventories still higher than the recommended 21 days, carmaker production cuts are likely to continue in the near term. So says India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra).
