India seeks comments on tinplate quality control proposal
India has invited comments on its proposal to implement quality control measures on imports of tinplate and chromium-coated sheet.
In a note to the WTO monitored by Kallanish, Indian authorities say they are seeking to ensure the conformity of these products to Indian quality standards. The products affected fall under HS codes 721011, 72101110, 72101190, 721012, 72101210, 7210129, 721210, 72121010, 72121090, 72105000 and 72125090.
