India iron ore output rises in July as mines reopen
Indian iron ore output increased 25.6% on-year in July to 11.9 million tonnes, while the value of this output was INR 1,989 crore ($299.3 million), Kallanish learns from the Indian mines ministry.
Chromite production was also up notably in July, by 49.7% to 162,000t. Manganese output that month, however, declined by -23.1% to 126,000t.
