India HR flats exports slump despite Italy surge
Indian exports of HS code heading 7208 products – hot rolled flats – slumped -28% on-year in April to 280,547 tonnes, as intake diminished from United Arab Emirates, Spain and Belgium. This is according to Indian commerce ministry data monitored by Kallanish.
Italy did, however, see its intake surge 154% in April to 75,909t, while Nepal took in 1% more at 33,489t and Vietnam grew intake 4.7% to 26,785t. Moreover, South Korea took in 12,181t…
