India automotive industry registers drop despite festive season
Indian automotive output plunged 35% on-year to 1,696,012 units in November, reports the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). Output includes passenger vehicles (PV), commercial vehicles, three-wheelers, two-wheelers and quadricycles.
Production during April-November, however, increased 10% on-year to 14,647,842 units, Kallanish notes.
