Downward pressure increases on Turkish rebar prices
Pressure has increased on Turkish rebar prices in both the international and local markets as scrap prices keep falling, Kallanish observes. On Thursday a Turkish mill concluded an ex-Baltic scrap deal at $247/tonne for 25,000 tonnes of HMS 1&2 80:20 and $257/t for 5,000t bonus grade.
