Increased shipments boost Saudi re-roller's second-quarter earnings
United Wire Factories Co. (Aslak) reported a 12% on-year rise in revenue to SAR 217.7 million ($58m) and 16% growth in net profit to SAR 14.1m in the second quarter. This was thanks to sales volume growth and a Covid-19-related refund of certain charges, the Saudi Arabian re-roller says without providing tonnages.
