Increased EU-origin intake lifts Polish coated flats imports
Polish coated flat product imports rose 15% on-year in October 2018 to 204,545 tonnes, according to data from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) monitored by Kallanish. Their average value was PLN 3,586.1/tonne versus PLN 3,402.5/t in October 2017.
The most-imported product was hot-dip galvanized coil whose intake grew 4% in October to 97,905t. Germany supplied 43,019t, down -2%, but Italy and Belgium provided 8,774t and 8,247t respectivel…
