Turkish coil prices continue to increase

Turkish mills have again raised their domestic hot- and cold-rolled coil prices last week, despite weakened demand. More price increases are expected in the coming few weeks, local market sources tell Kallanish. Domestic producers are asking $580-590/tonne ex-works for October-rolling HRC, up some $10/t on-week. Booking levels, however were suggested flat on-week at $550-570/t, with no deals heard in the asking price range last week. Mills' asking price…
