Italy exports 2.4% more within EU: flats fall, while longs increase, says Federacciai
Italian steel trade with the rest of the EU saw moderate growth in January to December 2014 compared with 2013, Italian steel producers’ association Federacciai tells Kallanish.
Last year, imports into Italy from other EU producers grew by 3.3% reaching approximately 9 million tonnes, whilst shipments in the other direction totalled 11.6mt, increasing by 2.4% year-on-year.
