Imported scrap suppliers target higher prices in Turkey
Turkish mills’ imported scrap demand remains sluggish, with mills evaluating the situation of scrap suppliers rather than making purchases. Short-sea scrap demand is stronger compared to deep-sea, while deep-sea suppliers are targeting higher prices which Turkish mills are yet to accept.
