Turkish imported scrap rises again on ex-Russia deal
Imported scrap prices have continued to increase on fresh deals this week, following the start of the uptrend last week, Kallanish notes.
After increasing last week to $224/tonne cfr Turkey, Russian-origin HMS 90:10 scrap has risen to $248/t cfr with a fresh small-tonnage deal on Wednesday. This cargo was reported to be initially offered at $250/t cfr.
