Low-quoted imported rebar squeezes Kuwait mills
Discounted rebar from Oman and Saudi Arabia is squeezing local rebar producers in Kuwait.
According to local sources, Kuwait's benchmark mill has decided to idle its melting shop and one rolling mill. The duration of the shutdown and whether it is a scheduled maintenance could not be ascertained before deadline as mill officials declined a request for comment, notes Kallanish.
