GCC HRC import prices continue inching up
In the Gulf Cooperation Council hot rolled coil market this week, prices have increased $25-35/tonne on last week's transacted values, Kallanish notes.
Last week, a 10,000-tonne cargo of multiple thicknesses of re-rolling grade HRC was concluded by an Indian mill at $810/t cfr Jebel Ali for February shipment. This equates to $825/t cfr for 2mm+ SAE 1006 grade (re-rolling grade) HRC.
