Import surge offsets Indian iron ore output slump
Indian iron ore production declined -10% on-month in January to 17.62 million tonnes, according to newly-published Indian Bureau of Mines data monitored by Kallanish. Non-captive and captive mine output each fell -10% to 12.19mt and 5.43mt respectively.
