IMH cuts output, lifts third-quarter pig iron exports
Russia’s Industrial Metallurgical Holding (IMH) increased pig iron exports in the first nine months of the year, as total output and sales declined following the blast furnace No.2 upgrade in the third quarter.
As a result of record-high pig iron output in the first six months and despite the BF2 overhaul in Q3, nine-month pig iron output declined by just 1% on-year to 1.88 million tonnes. In Q3 pig iron output fell 10.9% on-quarter to 0.58mt.…
