Fortescue signs up IMDEX for mining support technology
Australian mining-tech firm IMDEX has secured a tech contract from Australian iron ore miner Fortescue Metals, which will generate revenue of AUD 13 million ($8.97m) over the initial term, Kallanish notes.
The BLAST DOG mining support technology, developed in Australia by IMDEX, will be used at the Iron Bridge operations in the Pilbara under a new three-year agreement, executed by IMDEX and Iron Bridge.
