Italy tribunal may put off Ilva hearing
ArcelorMittal Italia chief executive Lucia Morselli told unions during a meeting in Taranto on Thursday that a draft agreement could be reached by the end of the day. This would allow the company to remain and relaunch the former Italian steelmaker Ilva.
The deadline to reach an agreement between Italian authorities and ArcelorMittal is 7 February, when the Milan tribunal will rule on the right of ArcelorMittal to leave.
