IGO completes Western Areas acquisition
Australian miner IGO Limited has completed the acquistion of nickel producer Western Areas Limited (Western Areas), Kallanish notes.
According to IGO, the transaction whereby IGO is acquiring 100% of Western Areas via a scheme of arrangement has been formally completed.
Pursuant to the scheme of arrangement, Western Area’s shareholders have been paid A$3.87 ($2.67) cash per Western Areas share.
