IGO achieves record revenue in September quarter
Australian miner IGO achieved record revenue of AUD 285.2 million ($184.63m) from its nickel business in the September quarter thanks to a contribution of AUD 83.4m from Forrestania, Kallanish notes.
The contribution of Forrestania more than offset a 27% drop in revenue at Nova, which was driven by lower realised nickel prices.
The group’s total nickel production rose 50% quarter-on-quarter to 9,761 tonnes.
