Idled Megasteel sparks new Malaysian HRC safeguard investigation
Malaysia is reportedly considering a new investigation into possible safeguard duties against imports of hot rolled coil. The investigation was brought at the request of Megasteel, the idled HRC and CRC producer which has now attempted to bring safeguard duties on HRC three times, Kallanish notes.
