IDC's first quarter sales fall, margins improve

Turkey's Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) saw its sales decline on-year but margins improve in the first quarter as prices increased, Kallanish learns from the long steelmaker's quarterly activity report. IDC's total finished product sales declined -11% on-year to 363,949 tonnes and no semi-finished product sales were registered in Q1.
