IDC's H1 revenue rises despite lower shipments
Turkey's Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) raised its consolidated first-half revenue, although finished steel sales fell on-year on lower exports, Kallanish learns from the long steelmaker's interim activity report.
Finished product sales declined -8.1% on-year to 736,035 tonnes in H1, affected by a -14% decrease in exports to 234,338t. No semi-finished product sales were made during the period, while 4,488t were sold a year ago.
