IDC raises sales, improves margins in 2016
Turkey's Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) posted an increase in sales and improvement in margins in 2016, Kallanish learns from the long steelmaker's full-year activity report.
The scrap-based steelmaker's total finished product sales rose 3.3% on-year to 1.52 million tonnes and semi-finished product sales doubled to 5,997t last year. Exports increased 9% to 485,218t, while turnover from exports declined -6%, IDC says.
