IDC sinks to 2018 loss, foresees challenging 2019
Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) foresees a tough year ahead due to protectionism abroad coupled with domestic demand weakness.
The Turkish steelmaker saw finished product sales increase 4.2% on-year in 2018 to 1.51 million tonnes, with exports rising 2% to 345,989t.
