IDC completes technical works to double steelmaking capacity
Turkish electric arc furnace-based steelmaker İzmir Demir Celik (IDC) has completed technical project work to increase its annual meltshop production capacity from 1.4 million tonnes/year to 2.8m t/y.
It has started preliminary contract negotiations for the main equipment of the investment, it says in a stock exchange filing seen by Kallanish.
