ICJ orders easing of Iranian sanctions, steel unaffected
The International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague has ruled the US must remove any restrictions arising from sanctions on Iranian imports of goods required for humanitarian needs. It stopped short, however, of ordering the complete removal of economic sanctions – including against steel trade – that Iran had requested.
