IDC's Q1 sales rise, margins improve
Turkey's Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) posted a 12.3% year-on-year increase in finished product sales to 410,450 tonnes in the first quarter. No sales of semi-finished products were realised in the period.
IDC booked "... partial improvement" in margins despite the average decline in prices of raw materials and finished products in Q1 over the same quarter of 2015, the long steelmaker says in its Q1 report seen by Kallanish.
