Icdas raises domestic rebar prices on strong scrap
Turkish scrap-based long steelmaker Icdas has further increased its rebar prices for the domestic market as scrap import prices grew last week, Kallanish notes.
The company's 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices are now up by TRY 30/t on-week at TRY 2,100/tonne ($596/t), TRY 2,110/t and TRY 2,120/t, effective 31 July. The move follows a raise by another TRY 30/t the week before.
