Icdas lifts domestic rebar prices as lira weakens
Turkey's Icdas has raised its rebar prices for the domestic market as the lira depreciation added to the improvement in domestic demand, notes Kallanish.
The company has lifted its 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices each by TRY 30/tonne to TRY 2,760/t ($711/t), TRY 2,770/t and TRY 2,780/t respectively, effective 14 March. A week earlier, the steelmaker had also raised its rebar prices by TRY 30/t.
