Icdas hikes domestic longs prices again
Turkish scrap-based long steelmaker Icdas has pushed up its domestic longs prices for a second time this week amid the ongoing increase in scrap and billet prices, Kallanish notes.
Icdas' 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices have risen by TRY 40/tonne ($11.3/t) over the beginning of the week to TRY 2,170/tonne ($613/t), TRY 2,180/t and TRY 2,190/t from 9 August. Two days earlier, the steelmaker raised the prices by TRY 30/t.
