IDC, CWPC ink power plant equipment deal
Izdemir Enerji Elektrik Uretim, a unit of Turkish steelmaker Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) has contracted China Western Power Industrial (CWPC) to supply a 350MWe coal-fired power plant.
Under the $164-million preliminary deal CWPC will supply and install the main equipment for the supercritical thermal power plant, long steelmaker IDC says in a bourse filing seen by Kallanish.
