Hyundai Steel resumes CRC production after strike
South Korean steelmaker Hyundai Steel has resumed operation of its cold-rolling mill at Dangjin Steel Works from 26 October, after a 14-day shutdown caused by strike action.
The No.1 and No.2 cold rolling units at the plant resumed operation on Wednesday, according to a local newsletter. However, there is still the possibility of continued strikes causing supply disruptions in the future as the two sides still differ on wage levels, Kallanish notes.…
