HYBRIT advances fossil-free DRI plant
The Swedish HYBRIT joint venture will build its fossil-free direct reduced iron plant in Gällivare, with commissioning of 1.3 million tonnes/year of capacity planned for 2026. The aim is to expand this to 2.7m t/y by 2030 to supply SSAB and others with DRI feedstock.
