Hungary proposes construction material export curbs, steel uncertain
Hungary proposes to introduce restrictions on exports of construction materials, including steel, in an attempt to curb construction costs and ensure affordable housing supply, a Hungarian government spokesperson confirms to Kallanish.
Also planned is the levying of an extra profit tax on some construction materials in order to curb price rises.
