Hubei Shunle to build quantum EAF
Hubei Shunle Steel will build a 100-tonne quantum electric arc furnace at its steel plant in Xianning City, Hubei Province. The project will be constructed by MCC18, Kallanish notes.
This will be Shunle's second EAF in Hubei, and it will also build a ladle furnace and a continuous billet caster. In 2018, technology supplier Primetals said it will supply two new EAFs and two new ladle furnaces to Shunle.
